The Medal of Merit for Blood Donations (MBD) recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to public health through voluntary blood donation. The medal is awarded in four classes based on the number of verified donations:

How to Participate
Track your blood donations through the Lifeblood portal. Donations are verified and counted toward medal milestones. Through the portal you can:
- Record your blood donations and upload verification
- Track progress toward your next medal milestone
- Find blood donation centres near you
- Receive recognition for reaching donation milestones
